Local Firefighter Pension Board

The Local Firefighter Pension Board (LFPB) for Nottinghamshire has been created to oversee the administration and governance of the Firefighter Pension Schemes which are managed by the Nottinghamshire Fire Authority.

The LFPB is made up of two employer representatives and two employee representatives. The current members of the LFPB are:

  • Sybil Fielding (employer representative)
  • Assistant Chief Fire Officer Mick Sharman (employer representative)
  • Mark Stilwell (employee representative and current Chair of the LFPB)
  • Area Manager Bryn Coleman (employee representative)

Each of the following will nominate one representative to the LFPB:

  • the Chair of the Fire Authority (employer representative)
  • the Chief Fire Officer (employer representative)
  • the local branch of the Fire Brigades Union (employee representative)
  • the local branch of the Fire Officers Association (employee representative)

The LFPB meets three times per year and these meetings are open to the public to attend part one of the meeting. If a member of the public wishes to ask a question of the Board, he/she must submit the question in writing at least one week before the date of the meeting to nick.linthwaite@notts-fire.gov.uk
