BS discussed the framework that went to Policy and Strategy committee on 12 November 2021. |

The framework was approved therefore implementation of the cases can commence. |

|
The purpose of this meeting is how the implementation is tackled as timescales are tight – payment should be made within 90 days. A list of those affected members is almost complete. |

Discussion took place on when the time frame should commence and whether those eligible should be written to and the process commence once they respond. |
|||||
|
BS proposed to go through the cased known and make those a priority. Then go to those members who have already retired within the last 12 months followed by those who have been retired longer than 12 months. |

HS advised that West Yorkshire Pension Fund have a number cases to deal with – all to be aware. |

The category 2 cases will have to be reviewed regularly to ensure the timeframe isn’t breached – if it looks like this could be a possibility the members concerned will be informed. |
