Located on Pinfold Lane, Stapleford Fire Station forms part of Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Services' South Group which also includes Arnold, Carlton, East Leake, Eastwood, Highfields, and West Bridgford.
As well as manning one fire engine, the retained crew from Stapleford also has the capacity to staff the Incident Support Unit (ISU) which provides welfare facilities for firefighters at a number of large incidents. The vehicle is fitted with toilets, washing facilities, hot and cold food, and drink, as well as 'cool vests' and 'cool chairs' which are designed to lower the body temperature of firefighters who have been exposed to extreme temperatures.
