Warsop Fire Station

Location

Church Street, Warsop, NG20 0AJ

About

Warsop Fire Station, which is based on Church Street, serves the village of Warsop and the surrounding area. The station forms part of the Service's North Group and crews at the station often work closely with staff from neighbouring stations such as Mansfield and Edwinstowe.

The station is staffed by on-call staff only, who carry a pager with them and respond from home or another place of work when required.

The crew is also specially trained in animal rescue and staff one of the Service's animal rescue vehicles – which can potentially attend animal-related incidents at locations across all of North Nottinghamshire.

To ensure their skills are kept up to date for when they are called to emergency incidents, the crew trains at the station every Tuesday night between 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm.
