Business fire safety awareness tool

Take part in an interactive walkthrough to understand your legal duties for fire safety in the workplace.

The Fire Safety Awareness Tool was developed as a collaboration between West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service, the National Fire Chiefs Council, Eyecademy and 925 Studios at Northampton University to assist new and existing small business owners in the understanding of fire safety in the workplace. It incorporates an interactive virtual tour around fictional premises whilst providing an overview of your fire safety responsibilities following a fire risk assessment on your premises. As you move around the virtual workplace, try and spot the potential issues to correct.

This tool provides an opportunity for an alternative way of learning to that of reading guides. Although fire risk assessment and other fire legislation are discussed, it is not intended to be a training tool for fire risk assessment and should not be described as one.
