FireStoppers: stop arson in your community

Help stamp out arson by telling us what you know about deliberate fire-setting in your area.

Our firefighters are called to thousands of deliberate fires each year.

Dealing with a nuisance fire (for example someone purposely setting fire to a bin) wastes our time and limited resources, impacting our ability to respond to more serious incidents like house fires or road traffic collisions, putting peoples’ lives and property at risk.

We've joined the FireStoppers initiative, to provide everyone across Nottinghamshire with the opportunity to help keep their community safe from those setting fires deliberately.  FireStoppers is a 24/7/365 service that enables you to pass on what you know about an incident, 100% anonymously. It is an independent service that will only ever take the details of what you know and pass it on to Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service to investigate.

If you have information following an incident of fire, or an attack on a firefighter or fire response vehicle, please complete the online form, or call 0800 169 5558.  You will stay 100% anonymous, the only person who will know you contacted FireStoppers will be you.

Your information could be vital, and may make a real difference.  Speak up.  Keep your community safe.
