Adam Kiziak and Tri Fire Ltd - Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and Nottingham City Council Joint Statement

The news regarding the activities of Tri Fire LTD and their director Adam Kiziak, and their subsequent expulsion from the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) has led to widespread concerns regarding the accuracy of their reports. Please read the IFE’s statement.

Nottingham City Council (NCC) and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) support the IFE’s statement and share their concerns. Whilst it is important to note that Mr Kiziak’s expulsion does not necessarily invalidate his historic work, NCC and NFRS are not prepared to rely on the content of PAS9980 / Fire Risk Appraisals of the External Walls, EWS1, Fire Risk Assessments or Fire Strategies authored by Adam Kiziak or Tri Fire LTD unless the content and conclusions are reviewed and verified by a competent, qualified professional.
