Fire on Dock Road, Worksop

At 00:51 this morning we were called to reports of a fire in a derelict building, on Dock Road, Worksop. Crews from Worksop, Warsop and Edwinstowe fire stations attended, as well as the Aerial Ladder Platform from Mansfield fire station.
Crews re-inspected the building at 7:30 am, and we have now left the scene. There were no injuries. A Fire Investigation found the cause of this fire to be deliberate ignition.
District Manager Leigh Holmes said “this was a well-developed fire, that crews worked hard throughout the night to extinguish. The use of these resources could’ve been avoided.
