Building fire on Farnborough Road, Clifton

​| 20:30 | We are currently in attendance at a building fire on Farnborough Road, Clifton. Eight fire engines are present at the scene, where one building is well alight. Crews are using one main jet, one delivery jet and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

| 21:30 | Fire engines from East Leake, Highfields, West Bridgford, Stockhill, Arnold, Stapleford and Carlton are in attendance, as well as the Aerial Ladder Platform from London Road, Command Support Unit and Specialist Rescue Unit from Highfields. Resources are expected to be in attendance at Farnborough Road, Clifton for some time. We are advising residents to avoid the area if possible and keep windows and doors closed.

| 22:40 | We are now scaling down the incident to two fire engines. Crews will be monitoring the scene overnight, and a joint investigation will begin tomorrow (Friday 15 April). Thank you to local residents for your understanding this evening.
