NFRS 2024 92 - Bottesford water rescue

On 1 October 2024, in Bottesford, Leicestershire, the driver of a BMW was rescued from flood water after attempting to drive through the raised level of the River Devon.
It was reported in the press that the attending Fire Crews were 2 crews from Newark, Notts and 1 crew from Grantham, Lincs.
Leicestershire FRS have already confirmed there was no cost to Leicestershire. Can you please provide a costing of the incident, however that is calculated in your service, for the 2 crews that responded from Newark.
Please include any other 'Domino' factors, such as other crews responding to incidents which the Newark crews were unable to attend as a result of the Bottesford incident.

Answer: - We can confirm that Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service did attend an incident on the 1st of October 2024, in Bottesford, Leicestershire. Two appliances were dispatched from Newark at 17:33:21, arrived at 17:54:03 and left at 18:19:34.
