You asked for:
- Number of fire stations with fire appliances: 24.
- Number of front-line fire appliances, Water Tenders and or Water Tender Ladders, (pumping appliances) on a typical:
Day shift: 30 plus two aerial ladder platforms.
Night Shift: 30 plus two aerial ladder platforms.
Stations staffed by Retained \ Day Crewing \ similar variants (.xlxs, 36Kb)
We have 24 fire stations across Nottinghamshire.
- Ten wholetime stations, with crews on duty 24 hours a day, every day
- Twelve stations staffed by on-call crews. These are people who carry a pager which will alert them to attend their local fire station when an emergency incident occurs
- Two stations have a wholetime crew on duty during the day and are staffed by on-call firefighters in the evenings and overnight
We have a fleet of:
- 30 fire engines
- Specialist vehicles including:
- Two aerial ladder platforms
- Specialist water and animal rescue vehicles
- Command and welfare support unit
