I am requesting the following information under the freedom of information act:

1. How many wildfires did your fire brigade deal with from 2017 to 2022? Please break down your response by year, size of fire, date, cause and if possible,location.
2. Please let me know any new equipment your service has purchased or plans to purchase in the last 5 years to combat wildfires.
3. If possible, please let me know the annual cost of dealing with wildfires to your brigade 2017 to 2022. Please break the figure down by each year.

2. Please let me know any new equipment your service has purchased or plans topurchase in the last 5 years to combat wildfires.
   Answer: - NFRS keep an a set amount of Fire Kit in Stores to have available to combat wildfires.
   • A stock of beaters 10-20
   • A stock of drag rakes 10-20
   • A stock of firefighting backpacks 10-15
   • Good stock of delivery hose that can be available

   NFRS are considering the following purchases,

   • Considerations for extra dams available, like those carried on the WAFUWater/Foam Unit.
   • Consideration for purchase of lances, blowers based on feedback.
   • Consideration for purchase of wildfire coveralls
3. If possible, please let me know the annual cost of dealing with wildfires to yourbrigade 2017 to 2022. Please break the figure down by each year.
   Answer: - Based on the number of appliances sent with an expected full crew per hour or part of an hour.
