You asked for

I am interested in obtaining detailed information regarding the procurement of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (drones) through the 2022 – 2024.

Please provide the following information:

  • The make and model of each drone system purchased.
  • The quantity of each make and model purchased.
  • The individual cost paid for each make and model.
  • The total expenditure on the drone systems.
  • Details of any training that was included as part of the purchase.

Our Response:

Answer: - Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service do not own or maintain any Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (drones) or train and employ drone operators. However, we do pay a fee to Nottinghamshire Police to provide their equipment and personnel on a case-by-case basis.

We would advise submitting your request to Nottinghamshire Police who can provide the requested information on their drones, operator training and costs involved.

Requests can be submitted via I want to find information about the police or you can submit your request by post to Nottinghamshire Police and Fire Rescue Service Joint HQ, Sherwood Lodge, Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 8PP
