We are making a request under the Freedom of Information act for details dating back to January 2022 of the total numbers of calls your service attended to assist other agencies in the moving and handling of patients/ casualties during that timeframe. We do not require them month by month but just the grand total.

Our Response

Answer: - Between the 1st of January 2022 up until the 26th of February 2024 there have been 1,934 calls where Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service has assisted the ambulance service. However, the incident management system does not provide details about what assistance was provided as part of a retrievable field.

We can a keyword search via the incident comments and radio sections for ‘Carry’, ‘Move’ and ‘Transfer’. This located 305 records within the same time period.
