Photo consent form

Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service would like to take your/your child's photograph/video for use in our publicity. These pictures may be sent to the media with a press release, used for our publications, on our website and/or social media channels*.

There is no obligation for you to do this and, if you choose not to give permission, every effort will be made to make sure you are not included in the filming or photography. 

• Photos will be stored in a secure location and only authorised staff will have access to them. They will be kept as long as they are relevant and after that time destroyed. 
• Addresses will not be disclosed in detail, but we may state, for example, ‘John Smith from Newark’.
• We will not use the images taken, or any other information you provide, for any other purpose. Personal e-mail, telephone etc, if taken, will not be disclosed.

Please be aware that Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service has no control over the use of material taken by external agencies, such as newspapers, TV and radio companies, either now or in the future. All copyright belongs to the external agency, which retains the right to re-use, broadcast, publish and re-distribute the material worldwide in the future, without seeking further consent.

You have the right to withdraw your consent for us to use your image at any time. To do so please email Corporatecomms@notts-fire.gov.uk 

*Please note that websites and social media can be seen throughout the world, and not just in the United Kingdom, where the UK law applies.
