Motorcyclist dies after Road Traffic Collison in Beeston

At 14:37pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday 27 July), we were called to the scene of a Road Traffic Collision on Queens Road, close to the junction of Hassocks Lane and Highfields Fire Station.

Highfields and London Road appliances attended the incident alongside partners from East Midlands Ambulance Service and Nottinghamshire Police.

Jonathan Holford, Group Manager said “it is with our deepest regrets that we can confirm that a motorcyclist has died at the scene.

“Our heartfelt condolences are with the family and friends of the individual, and all those affected.

“We have been working with partners from EMAS and Nottinghamshire Police, whose Forensic Collision Investigation Unit continues to investigate the event and will remain on scene for a number of hours.”
