Grenfell Tower Inquiry Phase II Report Published

“As a service we acknowledge the publication of this report, and our first thought is of course with the family and friends of the 72 people who lost their lives in this tragedy. This publication will no doubt be a painful experience for them all," said Nottinghamshire's Chief Fire Officer, Craig Parkin. 

“Since the Grenfell Tower Inquiry Phase 1 Report was released in October 2019, we have worked hard to implement the recommendations that we hope will ensure an incident like this never happens again. We will treat the recommendations coming out of the Phase 2 Report with the same level of seriousness and professionalism as the first.

“We will also continue to support our fire service partners nationally, and the National Fire Chief’s Council, who continue to work with partners and other agencies who also have a part to play in ensuring we never see such a tragic incident again.”
