Fire Service Launches 2026 Easter Egg Collection

Posted on 24 February 2026

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service is once again spreading joy this spring with the launch of its annual Easter Egg collection.

Running until Tuesday 31 March 2026, this appeal invites members of the public to donate chocolate eggs, helping ensure children across Nottinghamshire receive a special treat this Easter. Donations can be delivered directly to Highfields Fire Station – Hassocks Lane, Beeston, NG9 2GQ.

We are also hoping to work with businesses locally to increase donation drop off locations, so if you would like your business to become a drop off point or you'd like to donate, then please contact toy.appeal@notts-fire.gov.uk. The drop off locations currently confirmed are:

  • Hucknall Tesco - Ashgate Road, NG15 7UQ
  • Gamston Morrisons - West Bridgford, NG2 6PS

Now in its fourth year, this initiative continued to grow thanks to the generosity of our communities. Last year around 4,000 Easter Eggs were donated and distributed to children who may not otherwise have received one. This year, we’re hoping to make an even bigger impact. Every chocolate gift donated help bring a smile to a child’s face, making a real difference across our communities.
