Workforce Plan 2025 - 2028
Introduction
Our workforce is our greatest asset and so it is critical that we ensure that it is deployed and developed in the right way to help us to achieve the aims set out in our People and Culture Strategy and Community Risk Management Plan 2025-28.
Our workforce is multi-skilled and multi-faceted, delivering a range of services to members of the public across Nottinghamshire as well as acting as an internal enabler to those front-line workers.
Workforce planning helps us to understand our challenges in effectively resourcing to the risks in our communities. We analyse workforce data to understand key people indicators like staff turnover, diversity and sickness and ensure that we are putting contingencies in place to address the trends we identify.
We work hard to ensure that we are scanning the horizons of digital innovations which may help us work in a more effective way now and in the future. The legislative landscape is always shifting and so we need to ensure that we are operating within the law. We ensure that our employees understand their responsibilities so that they can deliver excellent services to the public.
