Improvements to support accessibility and inclusion have been carried out across our fire stations.
Our new Compartment Fire Behaviour training facility at our Service Development Centre was opened.
Our new inclusive uniform was rolled out for staff across the Service.
We are a disability confident employer. This means we have an inclusive workplace for people with disabilities.
We maintained our Skills for Justice accreditation for our incident command training centre and fire safety.
We maintained our White Ribbon accreditation, supporting the charity in ending violence against women and girls.
We are a Gold Award holder for our Armed Forces Covenant work. This demonstrates our commitment to suppoorting our Veterans and those currently serving as Reservists.
Our firefighter apprenticeship is rated Good for quality of education, personal development, leadership and management and Outstanding for behaviour and attitudes.
