Have you ever wondered how we help people at incidents who are part of the deaf community?
Some of our crews took part in a training exercise alongside East Midlands Ambulance Service and members of the Nottinghamshire Deaf Society at a training exercise aimed at testing and developing communications at a road traffic collision.
The exercise, held at Highfields Fire Station on Thursday 9 May, saw volunteers who were deaf or hard of hearing act as casualties in a four-car collision.
