Retford pantomime returns - oh yes it does!

After an immensely successful performance of Cindarella last year, firefighters from Retford Fire Station are gearing up for yet another Christmas panto. Oh yes they are!

The star-studded cast will be putting on three showings of Alladin next month, all in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity, and tickets are really flying!

Each show will be taking place at 6pm in the Retford Little Theatre - on either Wednesday 14, Thursday 15 or Friday 16 December - and the organisers are expecting a sell-out on all three nights.

This latest production follows the hugely popular Cinderella pantomime last year that was put on, by staff from Retford, in memory of Firefighters Darren Bryan and Steve Cottrell who tragically passed away whilst off-duty last year.

Last year's sell-out show was enjoyed by people of all ages and raised a massive £2789 for charity, as well as keeping the memory of two much-loved colleagues alive.

"Last year's shows went down so well, and raised so much money, that we just couldn't resist putting on another one this year," said Firefighter Andy Turley, who has helped organise the pantomimes.

"I have to say, we were all so nervous before the shows last year and I'm sure those nerves will set in again, but we're hoping it will be a really good laugh and as many people as possible will come and see us. It promises to be a fantastic night that will be fun for all the family."

All proceeds will go towards The Fire Fighters Charity, and tickets - which are selling fast - can be bought on
