Remembrance Day

We are supporting the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal and will be marking Remembrance Sunday (Sunday 8 November) and Armistice Day (Wednesday 11 November).

As there are few opportunities to buy a poppy in person this year, please consider downloading a digital poppy poster from the Legion's website and making a donation.

On Wednesday 11 November, the Deputy Chief Fire Officer, Craig Parkin, will attend Nottingham's Armistice Day service on Victoria Embankment.  Other representatives of the Service will be laying wreaths at socially distanced commemorations around the county or, where that cannot be done safely, at a later time.

Our employees will be joining in with the two-minute silences at 11am on Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day.
