Fire chiefs highlight Service's work during pandemic


The National Fire Chiefs Council has highlighted Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service's humanitarian assistance during the pandemic.

In a report entitled 'Making a Difference', the NFCC celebrates the additional work carried out by Fire and Rescue Services across the country and focuses on NFRS leading the regional support to East Midlands Ambulance Service as well as covering over 400 shifts.  It also mentions that the Service delivered over 12,000 food and medicine parcels, worked at 20 test centres and administered over 80,000 vaccinations.
