LGBT History Month

With LGBT History Month ending over the weekend, we are proud to share with you our spoken word video providing a message of inclusion both within our workplace and service delivery.

The poem was written by Mick Peat, our Equipment and Hydrant Maintenance Technician, and the Assistant Chief Fire Officer featured in the video alongside operational firefighters, members of the Organisational and Development Team, Ashfield’s District Prevention Officer and the Information and Governance Officer of the Service.

We have been doing numerous activities to mark this month, including hosting an internal webinar with guest speakers which attracted over 60 attendees, including employees from Nottinghamshire Police and other Fire and Rescue Services.

We are proud to be an inclusive organisation.
