From 7th May to 11th of June 2021 we undertook engagement and consultation activities with a wide range of partner agencies, groups and communities within Nottinghamshire and the surrounding area. The objectives of this consultation activity were to gain insight and understanding of the public’s perceptions of Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS), their requirements and any partner agency activity which may impact on NFRS activities in the future.
Over 180 external stakeholder bodies were contacted directly. This resulted in four responses. The online community survey resulted in 78 responses. All feedback has been reviewed and will be used to help shape the development of our new Strategic Plan.
The online survey results showed that the public are satisfied with NFRS the overall effectiveness of NFRS and believe they receive good value for money. We also discovered that the members of the public would like us to align the title of our Strategic Plan to the sector recommended Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP).
A more detailed summary of the results of the informal consultation survey can be found below.
