New group to advise on BAME engagement

‚ÄčCommunity Engagement Manager, Guninder Nagi, has brought people together to help support our engagement with Black and Minority Ethnic communities.

The BAME Community Advisory Group (BCAG) is a focus group designed to act as a sounding board and advisory group to support the development of policies, procedures and communications with our Black and Minority Ethnic communities across Nottinghamshire.

The group will support us with:
  • developing stronger relations between BAME communities and the Service;
  • identifying opportunities for better community engagement;
  • sharing our information within communities;
  • advising us on areas for development.
Group members are Gurmit Kaur, Guninder Nagi, Gursharan Nijjran, Ben Rosser and Mohammad Yaseen, with plans to expand the group further.
