About Us

Tuxford Fire Station, based on Clark Lane, is part of the Service's North Group. The station, and the staff that serve there, provide fire cover to Tuxford and the surrounding areas.

The station is staffed by on-call staff only, who carry pagers with them and respond from home, or another place of work, whenever required.

In total there is one Watch Manager, two Crew Managers and seven Firefighters at Tuxford – which is home to one fire engine. The station is currently on the lookout for new recruits and if you think you've got what it takes, they would love to hear from you. Send them a message on their Facebook page or pop in on their drill night.

To ensure their skills are kept up to date for when they are called to emergency incidents, the crew trains at the station every Thursday night.
