Incident Description

​Fire survival guidance was given to the occupant of a house - which was on fire - by staff from the Service's Control Room.

This advice was given whilst crews from Stockhill and Highfields travelled to the incident. Upon arrival the individual was rescued by firefighters - who went on to extinguish the fire using breathing apparatus and hose reel jets.

A positive pressure ventilation fan was also used to clear smoke from the house.

The incident had been dealt with by 10.23pm.
