Fire - Boughton Industrial Estate, Kirton 10/04/2019 02:20

​Crews from Edwinstowe, Tuxford, Worksop, Warsop and Arnold were called to the scene of a fire in an industrial building on the Boughton Industrial Estate, Kirton.

Two hose reel jets and one main jet were used to extinguish the fire. A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear the smoke.

Firefighters had dealt with the incident by 11.53am.

​Crews from Stockhill and Arnold attended the scene of a fire inside a single storey garage.

One hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation fan were used to extinguish the fire and clear the smoke.

One 64-year-old man was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.

​Crews from London Road, Highfields and West Bridgford attended the scene of a fire at a supermarket on Green Lane, Clifton.

The fire was located in the first floor inside a ventilation system.

One hose reel and a dry powder fire extinguisher were used to extinguish the blaze.

One man received treatment from paramedics at the scene, another woman was extricated by fire crews and taken to hospital via ambulance.

​Crews from Worksop were joined by firefighters from Derbyshire and South Yorkshire in tackling a fire in a single storey building on High Road, Carlton.

The fire had begun in spray booth before spreading to an office.

Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.

Crews had finished dealing with the incident by 10.20am.

Firefighters provided first aid before the man was taken to hospital by air ambulance.

​Crews from Eastwood, Highfields and Stockhill were called to the scene of an industrial building where four chemicals had mixed together, causing pressure to build up within a 250 litre cylinder.

No one was injured. The road was closed as a precautionary measure whilst firefighters worked alongside partner agencies to assess the scene.

​Crews from Ashfield and Mansfield were called to the scene of a fire in a nursing home on Beech Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield.

The fire, which was located in the basement, was extinguished by crews using two hose reels. Positive pressure ventilation fans were used to clear the smoke.

Thirteen residents were evacuated to neighbouring houses but no one was injured.
