The Aeriel Ladder Platform at an open day
Visitors enjoy one of our open days

Many of our fire stations hold open days, when we welcome members of the public in to see what a fire station is like and to chat to our crews about what they do.

We also invite community groups for people of all ages in to meet us, and we have meeting room facilities at all our stations if local societies wish to use our space for their own gatherings.

Sometimes people invite us to attend their own fetes and fairs and we like to accept if we can, as it gives us a chance to meet local people, explain our role and give advice on staying safe at home and outdoors.

If you would like to discuss any of these opportunities with us, please contact the Administrator at your local fire station in the first instance.
