Charges
The majority of information in our Publication Scheme will be free of charge although, due to the broad nature of the kinds of information listed, there will be some instances where a fee will be required. Any fee charged will be calculated by looking at the costs directly and reasonably incurred locating and/or producing the information you have requested and providing it to you.

If a fee is required, we will contact you to discuss your options. Instances such as these (but not restricted to) include:

  • requests that require a large amount of photocopying, printing or reproduction.
  • requests that will need substantial resources allocated to locate and/or produce the requested information.

Please note that we will not be under a duty to provide you with the information you have requested if it exceeds the £450 appropriate limit set by government. We will, of course, inform, advise and assist you if you exceed the limit and try to provide you with information from your request that falls within the £450 limit.

Further information regarding fees can be found from the National Archives or the Information Commissioner’s Office.

In order to protect the Authority, there will be rules which govern multiple applications for information which are clearly trying to avoid the financial limits set by the Government. However, we will try to help you as much as possible to get the information you want.

If you wish to find information relating to the issuing of Enforcement, Prohibition or Alteration notices by Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, you can search the National Enforcement Register. The database is hosted by the Chief Fire Officers' Association (CFOA) and gives details of notices issues to 'responsible persons' by fire and rescue authorities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

If you are unable to find what you’re looking for or you need advice, please contact our Corporate Administration department by email or by telephone on 0115 967 0880.
