Man dies in house fire

A man has died following a fire at a bungalow in Vine Way, Newark early this morning.
The fire started in the living room but was out when crews arrived at the scene. The rest of the property was damaged by smoke.
Firefighters from Newark and Collingham were called to the incident at 6.07am. A team of investigators, including the Fire Investigation Dog, are now working at the property to determine the cause, which is not believed to be suspicious.
